Our Approach

We conduct assessments for children, adolescents, and adults to identify developmental, emotional, and/or attention difficulties and learning challenges as well as individual strengths. These evaluations are often used to inform appropriate interventions, and they are useful in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). We find that for many people, assessments provide insights into struggles and challenges they may have been experiencing for years.

At an initial consultation we will meet to specify the client’s needs and develop a timeline and expectations for completion of a final report (and other summaries that may be necessary based upon client needs). Comprehensive assessments can take multiple testing sessions, while brief screening assessments and admissions testing may be completed in one or two sessions.
